  • The Cercis chinensis tree, also known as the Chinese redbud, is native to woodlands, thickets, and slopes in central to southern China . It can grow as a tree up to 15 meters tall, but is more commonly found in shrub form. The tree features beautiful pink or milky white flowers that are pea-like and borne in tight clusters on old wood . The leaves of the Cercis chinensis are circular in shape, adding to its aesthetic appeal. It blooms in April and produces fruit in October .
