Instanced Turbosmooth modifier has been used and can be enabled on any object, but it is off by default.
Hair&Fur modifier has been used in protea flower. Default state is off. If you intend to use the model far from camera it is better to leave the modifier off. For close-ups enable it on following objects: Protea_center_001, Protea_center_002, Protea_center_003 and also on any “Edge_xxx” object. For these objects modifier is instanced. For Hair render in V-Ray enable the mr prim mode in the Environments&Effects menu. For Hair render in Corona enable the Geometry mode in the Environments&Effects menu.
.OBJ file does not contain Hair&Fur and Turbosmooth modifiers. Hair&Fur modifier settings screenshots for the hairs in the center of the flower and on the edges are attached. Renderable property in the Object Properties tab has to be enabled on all “Edge_xxx” objects.
For those who work in the VRay version lower than 3.1, be careful, the materials in the BRDF section contain Microfaset GTR (GGX), if your version is older than 3.1, the BRDF field will be empty. Choose Blinn, Phong or Ward - which is better for you.For Corona render, it is recommended to install a version not lower than 1.5, since the glossiness of the materials is adjusted taking into account PBR.
