Notes: The Almond Tree is the earliest of all Pruni to bloom. It does in February-March, but if the winter is warm, it can also exceptionally bloom in January. It grows only in sunny places and in warm regions, where it can be safe from freezing cold. The fruits are widely appreciated in the kitchen, especially for sweets.
