EVERYPlant Walchia 4 --16 Models-- 3D model

Description

Name: Walchia

Scientific: Walchia piniformis

This Variation: 4 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.

Notes: A primitive conifer that existed during the late Carboniferous and early Permian periods, approximately 310 to 290 million years ago. Fossils of Walchia have been discovered in rocks across Europe and North America. Notably, an in-situ forest of Walchia tree stumps can be found along the Northumberland Strait coast at Brule, Nova Scotia.

Included in this Package: 16 models in total

  1. Standard -- 132,634 polygons, 165,973 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
  2. Thriving -- 134,469 polygons, 168,351 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Peak health.
  3. Unhealthy -- 122,990 polygons, 153,690 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased.
  4. Dying -- 103,447 polygons, 128,078 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  5. Dead -- 86,889 polygons, 106,360 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  6. Stump -- 58,231 polygons, 71,725 vertices -- 9.31m tall. A dead tree with its trunk broken.
  7. Uprooted -- 97,895 polygons, 120,173 vertices -- 10.56m tall. Dead tree fallen onto its side.
  8. Ancient -- 268,608 polygons, 350,091 vertices -- 41.82m tall. Very old tree, larger and considerably gnarled.
  9. Young -- 73,187 polygons, 95,023 vertices -- 21.1m tall. Smaller, some half way through its maturing cycle.
  10. Immature -- 10,869 polygons, 14,583 vertices -- 7.65m tall. Very small and young.
  11. Sapling -- 702 polygons, 877 vertices -- 1.35m tall. Recently sprouted.
  12. Lower Poly -- 12,928 polygons, 19,506 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Standard model with fewer polys to save system resources. Intended for mid or distant renders.
  13. Higher Poly -- 539,328 polygons, 646,702 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Standard model with more polys for greater detail. Intended for close-up renders.
  14. Quads -- 142,126 polygons, 181,080 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  15. Triangles -- 260,538 polygons, 165,755 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  16. Uniform Mesh -- 321,303 polygons, 346,995 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).

Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.

EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
