Description
Name: Single-Leaf Pinyon Pine
Scientific: Pinus monophylla
This Variation: 3 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.
Notes: A pine in the pinyon pine group, native to North America. The range is in southernmost Idaho, western Utah, Arizona, southwest New Mexico, Nevada, eastern and southern California and northern Baja California. It occurs at moderate altitudes from 1,200 to 2,300m. It is widespread and often abundant in this region, forming extensive open woodlands, often mixed with junipers. This plant is the world's only one-needled pine. The edible seeds, pine nuts, are collected throughout its range; Native American of the Great Basin region commonly ate them. Various birds and mammals eat the seeds as well.

-
Unhealthy -- 238,244 polygons, 295,077 vertices -- 22.27m tall. Relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 204,344 polygons, 246,167 vertices -- 21.68m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 193,404 polygons, 230,995 vertices -- 21.68m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.

-
Sapling -- 756 polygons, 1,018 vertices -- 1.13m tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 26,599 polygons, 49,061 vertices -- 23m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 1,734,640 polygons, 2,145,105 vertices -- 23.23m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 296,257 polygons, 382,250 vertices -- 23.23m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 546,996 polygons, 354,304 vertices -- 23.23m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 329,682 polygons, 380,965 vertices -- 23.23m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
