Description
Name: Shadscale LowPoly
Scientific: Atriplex confertifolia
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: Shadscale is a common, often dominant, shrub in the lowest and driest areas of the Great Basin. It prefers sandy, well-drained soils and it is tolerant of moderately saline conditions. Its habitats include alkaline desert valleys, hillsides, and bluffs. Its foliage provides important winter browse for domestic livestock and native herbivores. It is native to the western United States and northern Mexico.
Included in this Package: 18 models in total
-
Standard -- 3,478 polygons, 6,139 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Flowering -- 3,467 polygons, 6,112 vertices -- 1.18m tall. A standard plant with flower.
-
Dry -- 3,440 polygons, 6,094 vertices -- 1.18m tall. The plant has seasonally dried out but is in otherwise good health.
-
Thriving -- 3,858 polygons, 6,751 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 1,634 polygons, 2,855 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 1,281 polygons, 2,212 vertices -- 1.12m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 455 polygons, 756 vertices -- 75.73cm tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 400 polygons, 677 vertices -- 72.11cm tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 993 polygons, 1,724 vertices -- 58.18cm tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 4,085 polygons, 6,849 vertices -- 1.76m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 3,309 polygons, 5,646 vertices -- 1.02m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 145 polygons, 274 vertices -- 50cm tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 48 polygons, 97 vertices -- 10.17cm tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 968 polygons, 2,369 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 4,758 polygons, 7,972 vertices -- 1.18m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 3,586 polygons, 6,374 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 7,155 polygons, 6,224 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 4,626 polygons, 7,012 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
