Description
Name: Shadscale
Scientific: Atriplex confertifolia
This Variation: 3 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.
Notes: Shadscale is a common, often dominant, shrub in the lowest and driest areas of the Great Basin. It prefers sandy, well-drained soils and it is tolerant of moderately saline conditions. Its habitats include alkaline desert valleys, hillsides, and bluffs. Its foliage provides important winter browse for domestic livestock and native herbivores. It is native to the western United States and northern Mexico.
Included in this Package: 18 models in total
-
Standard -- 10,359 polygons, 17,605 vertices -- 1.25m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Flowering -- 10,396 polygons, 17,662 vertices -- 1.21m tall. A standard plant with flower.
-
Dry -- 10,399 polygons, 17,680 vertices -- 1.23m tall. The plant has seasonally dried out but is in otherwise good health.
-
Thriving -- 10,573 polygons, 17,991 vertices -- 1.25m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 9,278 polygons, 15,691 vertices -- 1.23m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 5,974 polygons, 9,762 vertices -- 1.23m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 3,535 polygons, 5,491 vertices -- 1.2m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 1,228 polygons, 1,817 vertices -- 46.51cm tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 5,943 polygons, 9,091 vertices -- 1.5m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 13,298 polygons, 21,282 vertices -- 2.15m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 7,854 polygons, 13,784 vertices -- 94.37cm tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 456 polygons, 830 vertices -- 46.61cm tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 67 polygons, 127 vertices -- 9.5cm tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 3,118 polygons, 7,440 vertices -- 1.25m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 15,545 polygons, 24,191 vertices -- 1.25m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 12,287 polygons, 20,451 vertices -- 1.25m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 21,468 polygons, 18,015 vertices -- 1.25m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 14,199 polygons, 21,251 vertices -- 1.25m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
