Description
Name: Shadscale
Scientific: Atriplex confertifolia
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.
Notes: Shadscale is a common, often dominant, shrub in the lowest and driest areas of the Great Basin. It prefers sandy, well-drained soils and it is tolerant of moderately saline conditions. Its habitats include alkaline desert valleys, hillsides, and bluffs. Its foliage provides important winter browse for domestic livestock and native herbivores. It is native to the western United States and northern Mexico.
Included in this Package: 18 models in total
-
Standard -- 25,434 polygons, 44,573 vertices -- 1.1m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Flowering -- 25,236 polygons, 44,285 vertices -- 1.1m tall. A standard plant with flower.
-
Dry -- 25,383 polygons, 44,495 vertices -- 1.08m tall. The plant has seasonally dried out but is in otherwise good health.
-
Thriving -- 28,133 polygons, 49,421 vertices -- 1.1m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 11,328 polygons, 19,357 vertices -- 1.04m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 7,567 polygons, 12,530 vertices -- 99.7cm tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 2,015 polygons, 2,963 vertices -- 79.09cm tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 1,507 polygons, 2,271 vertices -- 77.75cm tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 5,003 polygons, 7,541 vertices -- 46.24cm tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 31,627 polygons, 52,404 vertices -- 1.7m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 18,810 polygons, 33,877 vertices -- 79.08cm tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 1,078 polygons, 2,111 vertices -- 38.62cm tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 48 polygons, 97 vertices -- 9.8cm tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 8,017 polygons, 19,519 vertices -- 1.1m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 38,361 polygons, 61,388 vertices -- 1.1m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 29,747 polygons, 50,736 vertices -- 1.1m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 53,063 polygons, 45,534 vertices -- 1.1m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 35,349 polygons, 53,837 vertices -- 1.1m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
