A block of detailed clover field. This is not an autogenerated scene but a carefully handcrafted tileable field for good realism while providing fast rendering. Double sided textures offer fake quickly renderable translucency.
One file has the separate objects intact, the other is set up for rendering as seen in the images, in MAX's standard scanline rendererer with Advanced Lighting GI option.
A Unity 3D v3 package is supplied. It has its own 3D Studio Max 9 file in the Assets folder. This version comes with a custom vertex shader for a realtime blowing wind effect.
The Max file for Unity 3D has Displace modifier applied to give it some irregularity on the Z axis.
Unity 3D version polycount is reduced to 312135 verts, 258866 faces.
