HISTORICAL NOTE: In 1917, the Naval Council of the Russian Empire decided to create high-speed killer cruisers in the Baltic Sea in order to contain the growing naval threat from the German Empire. So they decided to use a destroyer platform for the project, since its construction was cheap. Its main functions would be: to combat captain ships, high-speed reconnaissance and mine placement. In short, it would be a light, high-speed, multifunctional warship.

Colonel R. A. Matrosova was responsible for the project. To reduce design time, the team decided to modify an existing project in the Russian Navy. The ships chosen were the Gavriil class destroyers, a subclass of the much larger Novik class destroyers.

Its main feature was its high firepower with numerous 130mm cannons and its triple torpedo launchers. With all this, the ship would reach 130 meters in length and 2,100 tons. The project was completed in 1917, but it never got off the ground, as there was no machinery strong enough at the time to propel the ship at high speed. Such machinery would only appear in 1940.

Very close to original ship. Can be modded easily. More early steam waships please. :)
