Nautical Open Chock 2

Nautical Open Chock 2 3D print model

Description

This open chock is watertight for 3D printing; but mesh versions are available for CGI usage as well. Note that the polygon count may need to be reduced for such applications. The model is built to full scale, so if using for model purpose, be sure to first scale it down accordingly.

An open chock is a heavy metal casting (as on the bow or stern of a ship) with two short horn-shaped arms curving inward between which ropes or hawsers may pass for mooring or towing. They are frequently seen on ships, boats, quays, docks and piers as well as other nautical vessels and infrastructure.
