French Dunkerque Class Battleship 3D print model

1/1800th scale Dunkerque Class Battleship model. Certain elements not to scale.

The French Dunkerque class of battleships utilized an uncommon 2x4 main gun configuration. Two turrets with four guns each. Most ships utilized turrets of two or three guns each. Dunkerque and her sister ship Strasbourg saw very little combat after the French fell quickly in the early days of the war. The Vichy government scuttled them in 1942.

This model is designed and tested at 1/1800th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/1800th scale, it is not ideal to print larger versions due to a lack of detail. The gun barrels and mast have been enlarged.

Update 13 Aug 19: Added boats, anchor chains, and a crane. Adjustments for better printability.

Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
