After attempting to print this model several times with two different printers, I can't get past being able to remove the support from the model without breaking the legs off. IMO, the look is excellent, it just won't print for me, sadly. The only thing I have not tried is to print it upside down with support. After having spent too much in filament, I think I'll wait awhile before attempting again.

Hi Perhaps it would be better to print the legs separately? You can write to me and maybe I can help you.

What would be the best way to separate the legs from the main hull? This would require some glue and I'd still need to generate support on the legs which would still be difficult to remove...If others have printed this, there must be something I'm doing wrong...Could it be I need to tweak the support settings?

Yes, I had this model custom made and my friend printed it I think I could make the legs thicker for you. Message me if you're interested.

Hi! Thank-you for your interest in making this a good experience for me. So far, it has. I printed this thing out at 320x320 and it turned out beautifull, except for the legs part. Perhaps your friend knows the settings that will work. I would be interested in knowing what he did to print it out. Maybe I don't have the patience to meticulously trim all the support from the underside.... I also tried it stock with the same results (4" model)....

I can ask him, but I'm not sure how quickly he'll respond If you send me this model in private messages, I'll just make the legs thicker

The model itself is highly accurate and loaded in my slicer with no issues, whatsoever. However, it would be nice to have a short instruction on optimum slicer/print settings. I upsized the model to 320x320 and it printed smoothly with no strings and minimal imperfections. I got hung up on the support which proved rather difficult to remove. The model is excellent. Instructions non-existent.
