Usually, a winch’s motor does not have any speed options. Because you cannot change the speed, the gearbox allows you to use custom speeds for your job.A basic hydraulic winch comes with a low or high-speed motor. They have a closed multi-disc brake, a support shaft, a drum, and a planetary gearbox. There is also a clutch, which is an optional part. The drum usually holds the brake and the planetary gearbox. The motor has a large starting torque and is extremely efficient. Depending on the job you can connect to different distributors. You can also incorporate valves into the oil distributor if needed.
