Zulfiqar is a well-known sword among Muslims, and the origin of its name is that al-Fiqar is the pits and notches, and the poorer sword that has grooves removed from its body. The sword was called “Dhu al-Fiqar” because there were holes in it for Hassan’s children, and the hole is called a paragraph. The Prophet Muhammad took it as spoils on the day of Badr, and this sword did not leave him, and he entered Makkah with it on the day of the conquest. And he is the one who saw the vision in the Battle of Uhud, and the list of this sword, its cap, its ring, its tail, its rollers, and its sole were made of silver.
