I present a 3D model of Submunition for cluster avia bomb
PTAB 2.5KO (ПТАБ 2.5KO) Training stand model (mockup).
Historical (technical) Background:
This is the (USSR) PTAB-2.5KO, a High-Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT), Dual-Purpose (DP), fin-stabilised submunition with a Self-Destruct (SD)
after-impact mechanism intended to defeat armoured targets such as tanks and infantry Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs).
The submunition has six spring-deployed fins and an arming impeller.
The PTAB-2.5KO has built into its body a stand-off for the Shaped-Charge (SC) Explosively Formed Jet (EFJ) to form.
The submunition uses a mechanically-armed, impact fuze or an impact-initiated with Self-Destruct (SD) backup fuze.
Dimensions of the assembled model 318 (max) x 60 (173)mm. Approximately (adaptation to the moulage) original size.
The model is made in SolidWorks. It is intended primarily for 3D printing stand model - training model,
for use as a visual aid and is not a complete copy of the external forms of the original product.
Although it does display all the basic external elements. The model is adapted for the possibility of 3D printing and subsequent assembly of the product layout.
All moving external elements remain movable (impeller, stabilizers).
The kit contains both assemblies - compact and operational (combat simulation)
The model is assembled, contains files of all conditional parts (STL) in high-polygonal version to obtain qualitatively smooth forms.
Additionally, the set contains all files for obtaining high-quality realistic visualization with close-ups (smooth lines, selected surfaces for applying materials or textures),
texture files are texture inscriptions to be applied to surfaces.(see rendering examples).
In addition to solid model file formats, converted high detail polygonal file formats are additionally provided.
