Information: A speer that was used in medival europe. It has a smaller handle so it could be used in melee. It is easy to control and you could throw it or stab someone. It is used in the north regions of medival europe. It was used from the 7th to the 9th century. It was an effective weapon against the vikings. They had hammers, shields and other heavy stuff. So you could throw it or you could use it in melee combat. Traditionally you block the viking's weapon (it does not matter if your weapon breaks) then you stab the viking. Or you attack him while hauling off. You are faster attacking with the weapon than a viking. But in the 10th century the weapon was built with an iron grip so that it did not break. Because if it breaks you can not block the attack of another viking any more.
