Description

Low-poly to mid-poly historical accurate reconstruction of a bandolier. A bandolier or bandoleer is a leather belt worn around the shoulder to carry ammunition and other corresponding equipment like powder flasks, fuse and so on. It came into use when the rise of guns made it necessary to carry not only the weapon itself but also its ammunition. For muzzle loading guns pre-measured and pre-filled flasks with powder where needed for fast reloading after each shot. A pouch was attached to the belt to carry lead balls as ammunition. Other equipment could be attached by leather straps or cords, too.

The file includes:

  • Three versions of the complete bandolier: 1) hanging somewhere 2) worn on shoulder 3) basic circular layout for custom arrangements or rigging
  • Two 4k PBR textures (one for the pouch and one for the belt with flasks)
