Composite Bow

Composite Bow Low-poly 3D model

Description

Here is the traditional Mongolian bow. It is also known as composite or recurved bow. It has been intended for using on horse that's why it is small, strong and fast. This bow was used by nomadic tribes such as the Huns Turks and Mongols. Composite bow is wooden structure The inside of the structure is supported by the ox horn. The ox horn presses in the opposite direction when the bow is drawn. On the other side of the structure is covered with sinew. Sinew gives flexibility to the bow structure and that is the other factor makes difficult to draw the bow. The bow is quite strong because it is drawn in the opposite direction and the ox horn and the sinews are stretched in the same direction. The biggest reason why it is small but so strong is to be created like a living creature along with wood, horn, sinew and natural glue (blood and fat). ################################################### Main exe file version is 3ds max 2016.
