The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger E was a heavy tank used by nazi Germany during the second world war. The design of the Tiger I started in 1937 with the participation of Henschel, Porsche and other companies. A workable design was not reached until 1941, leaving multiple discarded prototypes that helped design other weapons. The tank entered service in 1942 on the Eastern Front and made part of the German weaponry until 1945.
