
The BRDM or BTR-40P was produced from 1957 to the mid 1960s, and is still in service in some parts of the world such as Egypt.
The model has an interior, hinged top and rear doors as well as rear water jet cover. Frame 0 has all hatches closed, and frame 10 all open.
The Lightwave and Modo versions have morph maps on the tyres at frame 10 to add a slight bulge at ground level for static shots.
The mesh consists of mixed polygonal and subdivision surfaces, which can be adjusted. In Max the MeshSmooth modifier is used.
Polygon count is in triangles and is for a mesh with subdivision Off. With all subdividion on, the triangle count is approximately 2,805,906 triangles, depending on your settings.
