The newest anti-fragmentation goggles 6B50 recently adopted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Ratnik. They are designed to protect the eyes and part of the fighter's face from shell fragments, mines, grenades, drops of chemically aggressive (non-eating) liquids and oils, coarsely dispersed aerosols, thermal factors, atmospheric influences and mechanical damages during all types of combat operations and daily activities. The surface of the protective glass has a coating that increases the resistance of the glass to abrasion and reduces misting of glasses.
