Polish Hussar Sabre

Polish Hussar Sabre Low-poly 3D model

Description

A battle-weary polish sabre with a scabbard, dated late XVIIth - early XVIIIth century. Known also as black sabre, due to the black color of the scabbard and handle, it was a popular weapon of choice among polish hussar cavalrymen and nobility alike. It bears some damage, its blade and crossguard chipped after several bouts and skirmishes. I modeled it in Blender, based on my own replica, which I use for historical fencing and reenactment.

The model is low-poly, with around 5K faces for the sabre and similar amount for the scabbard. It is however, quad-based with no triangles or n-gons, hence the poly count can be further reduced with ease. It's uv-unwrapped and textured with 4K image textures, which are included. Blade, handle, crossguard, hood, rivet and both scabbard rings are separate objects to ease model management and retexturing. Suitable for games and animations in both historical and fantasy settings.

I hope You like it :)
