With recurved sharply-pointed blade very finely watered with Jacob's Ladder pattern and with bright reinforced cutting-edge, the spine of T-section chiselled over its entire length to the point with scrolling arabesques and foliage, the forte with a slightly raised shaped panel on each side chiselled en suite, beaked iron hilt en suite with the back of the blade along the top and inlaid in gold with foliate cartouches along the bottom, basal mount chiselled with arabesques and inlaid with gold foliage at the junction between the back of the blade and the grip, small gold-encrusted suspension swivel, and rounded walrus-ivory grips of plano-convex section, in original wooden scabbard covered in black leather (minor damage) with silver chape embossed and chased with foliage, and bound with its original suspension cord
