My take on the battle axe. It features a crisscrossing leather grip with brass guards and sculpted faces for the axe itself. The axe is designed to be imposing yet functional. The end opposite of the cutting edge is blunt. It has a sharp tip that can be used for impaling.
I extended the cutting edge towards the handle to make it more visually striking and to add more damage causing area.
The stills are all rendered in Blender Cycles. All of them have been rendered using only the final texture and normal map.
