The handle of the knife is made of animal bone, which is framed in a copper frame. the blade is made of metal, and the scabbard is made of brown leather framed with copper material covered with traditional ornaments. A ‘khanjar’ curved dagger from Oman, with lightweight, curved, double-edged blade, with continuous medial ridge. The hilt, made of dark horn, is covered in geometrical, copper, as well as with a band made of sheet copper. With embossed leafy tendril volutes (on the front) and punched, geometrical rhombs (on the back). The top of the bivalve, wooden sheath displays decorations consisting of embossed leafy tendril volutes in sheet copper, below which, in the centre, is dense geometrical embroidery made of fine copper wire, as well as a ‘shoe’ made of detailed decorated leather
