These are a pair of swords, each with thin and straight double-edged blades. Both main blades also have up-curved short blades near the tip of one side and another at the base of the other side of the blade. The lower part of the swords consists of smooth brown handles with round gray hilts. Raiga wrapped Kiba in bandages when they weren't using their swords.

Passed down from generation to generation in Kirigakura since the First Mizukage, the Kiba swords were once obtained and were in the possession of Ameyuri Ringo and Raigi Kurosuki, and at some point, they were used by Mangetsu Hozuki in the process of mastering all Seven Swords of the Mist. Kiri lost Kiba from his possession when Raiga became a renegade ninja, and both swords were left at the bottom of a lake in Riverland after the latter's death. Later, the swords were found by Kabuto Yakushi and sealed in a scroll, along with the other three swords of the Seven Shinobi Swordsmen, which was in the possession of the resurrected Kabuto Mangetsu. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, when Kabuto summons Mangetsu along with the rest of the resurrected Seven Shinobi Swordsmen, the latter unseals the swords and returns them to the resurrected Ameyuri Ringo, who again wields them throughout the war.[2]

In the anime, after being trapped in a bottomless swamp, Ameyuri Ringo gives the blades to Omoi as a gift for a good fight with him.[3] At some unknown point after the Fourth Shinobi World War, the swords are returned to the possession of Kirigakure, where they were stored in the armory along with all the other swords of the Seven Shinobi Swordsmen, in the future to train a new generation of Seven Shinobi Swordsmen.[4] Later, the armory is invaded by a self-proclaimed team of Seven Shinobi Swordsmen, Who takes possession of the seven swords to carry out a coup d'etat and return the village to the time of the Blood Mist, and Kibu takes Buntan Kurosuki, who is going to wield swords just like her father.
