DESCRIPTION

This is a Frankish Ulfberht sword from the viking age.
Here is a historic note about the sword; A seigneur by the name of Charles the Bald tried to ban the export of these swords in the 800's. The swords were forged in high quality steel and had the maker's name on the blade. Some of these swords were used in Viking raids with such lethal effect that Charles felt he had to do something
The sword itself is as it appears in the screenshots. It would be well utilized in games or as 2D art. This is a bargain price for my work and it will only remain at this price for a limited time.
