This low-poly game-ready weapon asset is a two-handed executioners axe with a vial of poison fitted in the handle.
In game the vial would be interchangable when fighting different types of enemies and produce different status effects or elemental weaknesses.
I wanted the overall look of the axe to appear scarred either by the poison or some sort of acid corroding the surface.
Much of the texturing was done procedurally and baked down from the 400k high-poly to this 5k low-poly. A seperate glass shader was used for the poison vial and gems.
