Description

Low-poly historical accurate reconstruction of the Faule Mette (Lazy Mette) of Brunswick in its firing position. It was cast from bronze in 1411. It got its name because it was too heavy to be placed on a carriage. In 1714 it was considered to be the biggest cannon in Germany. In 1787 it was melted down and recast into several lighter guns.

The file includes:

  • Gun with two different texture sets (cleaned and patinated version)
  • Cannon bed for firing made from heavy wooden beams
  • Some stone balls as ammunition

Polys/Verts

  • Faule Mette (1,363/1,420)
