Description
The M4 Carbine, or M4 Carbine, is a family of (reduced) carbines of the M16 rifle, all modeled on the IR 15 designed by Eugene Stoner of Armallight. The M4 Carbine is actually a shortened and lightened version of the M16A2 assault rifle, with which it has an 80% share. Production of the M4 began in 1994 at Colt, and now, along with the 16A4, is the main organizational weapon of the US military, replacing the older M16A2 and the Bertha M9 rifle in most units.
