Hispano-Suiza HS.404 20mm cannon for aircraft
The Hispano-Suiza HS.404 20mm cannon was used in many allied aircraft during World War II. Some were mounted in wings, others in the fuselage, and others were in turrets or blisters on the aircraft. Several versions of this gun were made. It was used by the navies and armies as an anti-aircraft weapon as well. This model is the generic type used in aircraft wings or fuselages, so it has no sights or handgrip. The ammo-feeder was supplied via ammo-chutes and trays. It is similar in shape and size to the 60-round drum magazine that was used in other applications.
