Heckler & Koch have changed the name of this rifle twice. It started out as the G28 then the HK417 and now it's called the HK241 E2. The civilian version is almost identical and it's called the MR308. Either way, it's regarded as one of the best sniper rifles by special forces and police forces around the world. The US Navy Seals started using it in 2008. Length 1082mm with stock extended. Width 78mm. Height 340mm including the red dot sight. Weighs 7.2kg with 20 round magazine. It uses NATO 7.62mm x 51 calibre rounds. Included in the model is the Schmidt & Bender telescopic sight and the Aimpoint red dot sight as shown in the pictures. The only optional extra not modelled is the bi-pod stand because I could not find enough detailed pictures of it.
