Description

Faithful and accurate Reconstruction of the Ancient Roman Legionary Helmet Coolus E, according to the Scientific Data and the Archaeological Evidence.

The Legionary Helmet Coolus E was a bronze Helmet and was in use in the period: mid-I century BC to mid-I century AD. It was the typical helmet used by the legions in service under the emperor Augustus at the beginning of the I century AD. It seems it was discarded by the legions under the emperor Claudius. Then probably still used by the auxiliary units and, in this case, usually without the knob.
