In the natural world there are protectors who protect all life. These virgins are beautiful, like nature itself and as unbridled in its character. They can change their anger into mercy in an instant and vice versa. They protect forests and animals. These virgins are called dryads.

Wood maidens look like beautiful women, but they got the color of their hair and skin from the trees and it changes depending on the season. So in winter, the skin of the dryad becomes dark, and the hair is completely white, like snow. In autumn, the hair becomes red or yellow, like foliage, and in the summer the forest nymph becomes saturated green.

Nymphs are endowed with various superpowers:fair (not always) rulers of fate;patronesses of shepherds and cattle;with the power to give people the gift of foresight and poetry;predicted the future;healed the wounds;they sent madness, blindness or rage to those who were cruel to nature.
