This package contains five high resolution photorealistic models of scroll paintings of famous 12th through 14th Century samurai. The stories of these samurai are critical to Japanese history. The figures shown in these paintings are Nitta Yoshisada, Tomoe Gozen and her husband Minamoto Yoshinaka, Ushiwaka-maru and Yoshitsune.
The paintings on these scrolls were made in ink, mineral and gold pigments on paper with speckled gold leaf mist. They were made in the 18th Century by an unknown artist as a series of leafs in an extensive album of Japanese historical stories. The scroll models are made in the style of important scrolls of that period.
This package includes a *.pdf document describing each samurai and provides a brief history of them, and of the paintings.
