Family imported from 3d max with high quality, no polygons showed in the hidden line, few families are made with REVIT, not a big size family, materials are in the same file. model exported from 3DSMAX and imported to revit via autocad model is in RFA format workplane based and face based in the file with the materials you will have to modifay the path material > Settings > Rendering opttion > select the files to modifay the materials go to Manage > Object styles > imported objects > look after the family name
