Description

This fridge is based off of LG door-in-door type refrigerators. It is a homogenized version of various LG door-in-door style refrigerator models, simplifying areas where needed. This model follows a real world scale in its dimensions, and is fully rigged, allowing all doors and drawers to fully open, including the secondary right door. Comes in .blend, obj, and .fbx filetypes.

Included are low poly and a higher poly subdividable version, including a pre subdivided version that has what I would consider the optimal amount of subdivisions. At the right distance, the low poly and high poly versions of this model are nearly visually indistinguishable. The high poly and subdividable versions are for those who want full detail on both the interior and exterior parts of the model. Two variants of the interface pad on the model are included, as well as the original .blend file, allowing you to modify the text and general arrangement on said interface pad for the water/ice dispenser to suit your own preferences.

The amount of polys and tris for the low poly and subdividable high poly versions are as follows:

  • Low poly Modern Refrigerator: 44,985 Faces/89,820 Tris
  • Subdividable Modern Refrigerator (unsubdivided): 376,455 Faces/752,686 Tris
  • Subdividable Modern Refrigerator (optimal subdiv): 1,719,388 Faces/3,438,766 Tris

The stainless steel fridge and freezer doors are unwrapped with a basic overlapping UV map using a texture from poliigon. Please note that this model uses basic blender materials for its colors and shading otherwise, and that they may not export fully or properly to other programs without needing some tweaking or modification.
