The Club Chair was designed by Josef Albers in 1928, the year he was made the director of the Bauhaus furniture workshop following the departure of Marcel Breuer. It was originally designed for the house of Hans Ludwig and Marguerite Oeser in Berlin. It was made in mahogany veneer, beech wood, maple with flat cushions. Ths chair has influenced generations of designers to follow.
