The Tilda Large Chandelier was originally designed by ArteriorsHome. I have recreated this design in a very similar style in 3D. A special thanks to them for making this model happen.
This chandelier model features a 4-tiers as that are comprised of 176 arms that span from the central spine. The lower, middle and upper tier host wooden dowles that stagger up and down around the center. The dowels are made with a slight bend to capture a more dynamic and 'natural' effect in the model. The top tier hosts the finish touch of dowels and in between the top and upper tier are the light-bulb arms of the chandelier. The light-bulb arms are hidden away in the mass of dowels when viewing it from a lower perspective. This helps to create a mystry behind the lighting source and attracts the observers curiosity.
The model was originally created in sketchup and rendered in 3DS Max with V-Ray.
