A soft, enveloping collection that cocoons in curves The new Pacific collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, provides an intimate sitting experience that feels like being immersed in a protective and relaxing cocoon. With its rounded, oversized shapes, it evokes the laid-back vibe of the American West Coast, from which it takes its name.

Pacific is a continuation of the design process started in 2010 with Patricia Urquiola's iconic Redondo collection. “This is the evolution of a collection that has been very successful in recent years, not least thanks to the use of innovative, luxurious finishes,” explained Patricia Moroso, art director of the company. With Pacific, we're focusing more on form, restoring generous, curved lines.

On the Pacific sofa, hard edges are forbidden, and soft forms are enhanced with couture details. Soft, woolly upholstery has been chosen to give an extraordinarily tactile experience, with a choice of sophisticated bouclé, plush wool or luxurious velvet.
