3D model of an engine stand with PBR textures

3D model of an engine stand with PBR textures 3D model

Description

This realistic highly detailed model of an engine stand is part of a series of garage tool models and uses pbr textures.

  • This model has been created using blender 2.79 with the bevel edge and subdivision modifiers to control sharp edges and to improve smoothness of the model. To add more geometry simply increase the subdivision modifier level to a higher setting in the blender file
  • The model has been supplied in FBX and OBJ formats as base mesh (modifiers NOT applied) and subdivision applied at level1 as seen in the renders.
  • The vertices count for the model are 53928 vertices,127984 tris and 63252 faces for the base mesh and 667316 vertices, 1334760 tris and 667364 faces for the subdivision level 1 files.
  • Textures have been provided for each individual object within the model, maps include (Base, height, metallic, roughness, normal). These have been supplied at a minimum of 1024px by 1024px jpeg formats, although some have been created at 2048px by 2048px to maintain scratch and grunge detail. these textures have also been provided in both basic and grunge texture packs.
  • Empty control points have been added to the blender to aid animation as used in the demonstration video. This model, however, is NOT a fully rigged model.
  • Athough not specifically designed for game development, these files have been open successfully in Unity.
