Description

✔ 12 High quality 3D CAD files in one downloadable zip file
✔ Ready for use in professional process engineering projects
✔ Very detailed
✔ Accurate dimensions
✔ Step file format: can be used in all solid modeling software programs

These 3D parts are created on real equipment base and created accurately in real dimensions, by qualified Dutch mechanical engineers.
All our 3D CAD parts have a high degree of detail and the quality comes as close to the originals as possible.
The main dimensions of the 3D models are based on public data, given by the major piping/tubing parts suppliers. These dimensions will therefore most likely exactly match those of the real part that will be used in the piping system that you are designing.

HOW WE MAKE OUR 3D CAD FILES:

We always start by collecting all data about the dimensions of a part. We then transfer this data to a spreadsheet, which we can use in Autodesk Inventor to model the part in all the different sizes. With the main dimensions as a basis, we start modeling and then try to add as many details as we can, in order to approach the real part as much as possible. To be able to use the 3D files in more solid modeling software programs than just Autodesk Inventor, we convert them to the step file format.

The step (.stp) file format is the most reliable way to exchange files between the different CAD software programs. They can be opened without any loss of quality in:

  • Autodesk Inventor
  • Autodes Fusion 360
  • Dassault Solidworks
  • Dassault CATIA
  • Siemens Solid Edge
  • ISMI Turbocad Pro
