Self-closing gate

Self-closing gate 3D model

Description

The principle of operation is simple: when opening, the functional part is not parallel to the ground, which is why it closes under its own weight. 3d model of a self-closing gate includes: a complete assembly in formats (iam, sat and ipt), all parts that are needed in this assembly and a help folder(I will refer to it). Pipes are used with a diameter of 42.4 and a wall thickness of 2.6. The assembly uses elbows, photos of which can be seen in the help folder. This is necessary for the versatility of the size. The length of the u-pipe in model 1000mm, but during the installation of the assembly, due to the presence of elbows, the pipe can be cut to the desired length. The mount is made for U-bolts (in the help folder you can find the standards that I use). Also, in my profile there is a 3d model of bolts for this assembly (u-bolt m12). I counted on mounting to the same pipe as in the assembly, but you can remake it for yourself. The complete assembly includes two smaller assemblies, a mount and a functional part. In practice, I expected to connect these two parts by welding. You also need to weld “pole” with “stand” The distances between the fastener on the poles can be changed as you like. You can also notice that the pole mount for the bottom is divided into lower and top. This improves the closing process. This is a short description of the model. If you have questions or remarks, write.
