It's rare to see a set of mugs like this, offering slightly varied textures. They consist of curved wood pieces held together with circular wood restraints on the top and bottom. A single piece wooden handle is mounted on the side of each. There is nice detail on the burnt texture mottling, lines, and seem cracks with an overall warm brown/orange tint resulting in a realistic and compelling design. The insides are darker, suggesting it was burned out and rubbed to keep from leaking, just like a real wooden cup would be made. Using wood instead of metal for the handles gives it an old style low clutter authenticity. A tough choice is whether to put the cups out separately for characters to encounter and drink from one at a time, or just put both out at once for a double chug. A fine implementation of a critical basic element in any medieval fantasy game from GetDeadEntertainment.
