Description

Digital 3D model of compact gas cooktop with animated flames.

ATTENTION

  • The model is prepared to work in 3ds Max with Corona renderer. It is the only file that will render the same as in preview images out of the box. If your intention is to use the model in some other programs, you must be prepared to set up materials and/or animation on your own. I will not be able to provide support for this model if it will be used outside of 3ds Max and Corona combo. In this case, purchase the model on your own risk.

MODEL

  • Model dimensions: LWH 25,0 x 52,0 x 5,8 cm (9.8 x 20.5 x 2.3 in).
  • Objects count - cooktop - 9 objects, flames - 138 objects. Everything is grouped into 1 group.
  • Model is not subdividable.
  • Model is made mostly of quads and some triangles. Few n-gons may be used where appropriate.
  • Polycount (cooktop alone):
  • Polys - 13 478
  • Tris - 24 264
  • Verts - 12 284
  • Polycount (including flames):
  • Polys - 76 206
  • Tris - 141 560
  • Verts - 71 404

MATERIALS

  • Materials are prepared for Corona renderer.
  • Scanline and FBX formats has only basic materials and will NOT render the same as in preview images.

UV COORDINATES

  • The model is fully unwrapped.
  • UVs are packed in non-overlapping manner within 0-1 UV space.

TEXTURES

  • The model is not textured, except for single decal texture. Most materials are using flat colors, or some 3ds Max and Corona specific procedural maps.

ANIMATION

  • Flames are animated to flicker in organic manner.
  • Animation is looped endlessly.
  • Animation is baked in point cache and saved to file.

SCENE

  • Flames and cooktop objects are stored in separate layers. You can hide/unhide flames with a single mouse click.
  • Model is scaled to accurate real world dimensions.
  • Objects, materials and textures have meaningful and matching names.
  • Transformations has been reset and the model is placed at scene origin [0, 0, 0 XYZ].
  • All texture paths are set to relative.

FILE FORMATS

  • 3ds Max - Corona
  • 3ds Max - Scanline
  • FBX

GENERAL

  • Modeled in 3ds Max.
  • Preview images are rendered with Corona renderer.
  • Images are straight from rendering app. No post processing were applied.
  • Render scenes are not included.

Don't forget to turn off the stove when you are rendering ;)

With current energy prices in mind, that's actually pretty good advice :]
