A simple ceramic coffee mug created with Blender 2.73 and rendered in Cycles. In this file are three mugs in three different colors included. Yellow, red and blue.

|| GEOMETRY ||

Clean geometry, quads only. No ngons!

|| TEXTURES ||

This model uses only one noise texture as a bumpmap for a slight displacement. The texture is generated with Cycles nodes itself.

|| MATERIALS ||

The coffee mug has 3 materials applied. A white ceramics on the inside, a colored ceramics on the outside and a natural rough ceramics on the bottom. All materials are created with nodes for Cycles Render. You can easily change the color of the mug by editing only one color value in the material node.

|| COMPOSITING ||

Compositing setup to render the model isolated from the environment with alpha values as background included.

|| RENDERS ||

  • renders created in Cycles Render at 1.000 samples using subsurf modifier level 2 - wireframe renders are showing the mesh without subsurf modifier

|| SCALE ||

The model is in real world size and scale.

This model was created with Blender. Only the blend file includes materials, textures and modifiers. All other formats have been exported and including only the mesh!
