Traditional Chinese porcelain / ceramic wan shou teapot. Typical Chinese design, four characters Wan Shou Wu Jiang are associated with longevity. Until the end of the Imperial China Wan Shou Wu Jiang was reserved for the birthdays of the emperors and empresses of China. The characters roughly translate into this meaning: 'may you have ten thousand longevities without boundary'. This design can be seen in many Chinese dining rooms!
