Hi.... We are Anella visuals and this is our first model up on CG Trader. This is a classic italian icon of the kitchen..... The Bialetti Moka pot.
Modelled in Maya Indie, textured in Substance Painter and previewed and rendered in Arnold (Maya). We have included the Substance Painter files as well as all textures for both clean and dirty versions to enable all purchasers to modify the textures with ease. UV's are clean, non overlapping and in UDIM coordinates 1001 1002 1011 1012, hence the naming covention for the textures.
In order to keep the textures piped in for the FBX version, I have had to break connections in Maya for the Roughness and Normal channels in which I used an aiRange node (roughness) and an aiNormalMap (normal), between the textures and the shader. If you are bringing this model into Maya, I would recommend using the .mb file in which the shader networks are all maintained. Please remember to enable UDIMs in your package.
The model has been organised into groups (FBX) including correct placement of pivot point for lid lift. The model is split into individual meshes for the bottom water vessel, coffee basket, top espresso chamber, handle, lid and knob and pressure bolt, making animating and simulations an easy task.
The model was created from reference and photos of our own Anella coffee pot.
