The parts on the katana are called Seppa and it belongs on the both sides of Tsuba (the crossguard)

Hello. this is only a digital file made for a 3D printing. So this sword is completely plastic. But by buying the product you are only buying the files for printing.

Good day Would it be possible for you to make the tsuba from DMC3 as well? I know the detail on the scabbard and pommel are different as well, but I guess asking for those would equal to just make new models? I really like this model and the idea of interchangeable tsubas is really appealing.

Hello. I think it shouldn't be a problem to make it in the future. I Wanted to make the DMC4 version as well. And I am currently finishing some other models, after which I would like to do some touchups to this model. So maybe when I will have the 3D files more optimalised for my new type of workflow, I might do other versions of it ^^ Thanks for your comment, have a nice day.

Cool, I'll wait for that then (I've had my DMC3 Vergil cosplay since 2 years ago and haven't debuted it, so how bad can be waiting more months?)

And is a beginner like my self able to print this my self especially the detailed parts and how long would the average print time would it take (I bought an elden ring model and most of the parts takes over a day I don't can't do that)

Hello. The parts are all prepared with propper orientation in which you should print it for the best result. I wanted to make it as beginner friendly as I could. So even the harder parts should be ok. In total the print will take you maybe few days. But in terms of parts? I can't really tell. It depends on the speed your printer is able to print with. For me I think the longest a part took was around 8-13 hours. And the parts are made to be able to fit onto regular sized printers. In the package you also have both the cut parts prepared for easy print on usual sized printers, and also a full size models of the Tsuba, Blade and Scabbard if you would need to cut it into parts yourself using a slicer like Prusaslicer or Meshmixer ^^ If you would have any other questions, you can always DM me and we can set up any problem that would appear. ^^

It was great, the models are well detailed and have plenty of points. High definition I have an Ender 5 Plus, so I was able to fit most of it in one go. Although, their method of cutting felt a little cluttered for my printbed, so I found a way to cut certain things into sections that would work for my printer from the full model. My own only gripe though, is that when you first pull it into a slicer, it will state that it needs repairs, and when you pull the precut pieces, you will get message of conversion of inches. If you're not careful and press yes to convert, it will mess with the sizing/proportion, so be aware of that.

Pretty decent model. Could used an alternative print layout for the blade parts to avoid layer shifts towards the top of the prints but not a problem for well tuned printers
